DENISON
- Funeral for Robert Taylor, 63, of Denison, who
died September 5, 1993, at his residence, were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in
Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial
Park. Revs. Jack Christman and Raymond England officiated. Taylor was born February 23, 1930, in Pulaski County, Virginia, son
of Berman Harvey and Mamie Nicewander Taylor. He married Elize Allen August 23,
1947 in Pulaski County, Virginia. A retired employee of T.F. Boyle Transportation of
Belrica, Massachusetts, he was a member of Global Harvest Ministries in Sherman. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Frances Spencer and
Linda Taylor both of Denison; five brothers, Harry Taylor of Newport, Virginia,
Addison Taylor of Blacksburg, Virginia, Frank Taylor of Bluefield, West Virginia, and Sidney
Taylor and Kermit Taylor, both of Richmond, Virginia; sister, Margaret Allen of
Richmond, Virginia; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Buddy Clay, Chad Clay, Bryan Clay, Gary
Lance, James Schindler, Michael Schindler and George Wingerter.

DENISON
- Funeral for Elzie Allen Taylor, 67, of Denison, who died April 4,
1994, at her home, were at 3 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Moore Funeral
Home. Rev. Raymond England officiated. Burial was in
Cedarlawn Memorial Park. She was born July 4, 1926 at Montgomery
County, Virginia, daughter of Robert and Nettie Howard Allen. She attended
Montgomery County schools, and married Robert Taylor on August 23, 1947
at Pulaski, Virginia. He died September 5, 1993. She was a member of Global
Harvest Ministries. Survivors include two daughters, Frances Spencer
and Linda Taylor Clay, both of Denison; two sisters, Evelyn Salley of
Chesapeake, Virginia, and Virginia Nolen of Blacksburg, Virginia; five
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Buddy Clay, Gary Lance, James Schindler, Michael Schindler, Keith Marshall and Wayne Sharp.
