Established 1948  Denison Herald August 20, 1996 pg.2 Durant - Graveside service for William "Bill" Trostle, Jr., 64, of Durant, who died August 19, 1996, in Durant, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. The Rev. Mark Mitchell officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Murray Funeral Home. Trostle was born October 25, 1931 at Webb City, Oklahoma, son of William Emmette Trostle, Sr. and Corene Collins Trostle. He married Patsy Youree September 3, 1991, at Denison. He was a retired MSGT, serving 26 years in the Air Force. He had been a resident of Denison for 27 years and Durant since 1991. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked setting up Nuclear Power Plants. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Virginia Gayle Trostle; and a son, Michael Trostle. Survivors include his wife; Patsy Trostle of Durant; 2 daughters and their husbands, Susan and Terry Craighead of Wakefield, Louisiana; Gloria and Jerry Camp of Denison; 2 sons, Gary Paul Trostle and Mark Allen Trostle of California; 4 sisters and 2 brothers, 8 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren.
