Established 1948   Denison - Funeral for Frances Sanders, 74, of 601 S. Brown, who died Sunday at a Sherman hospital, were held Wednesday morning at Waples Memorial United Methodist Church with Dr. Tom Peel officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home. Mrs. Sanders was born September 5, 1911 at Longstreet, Louisiana, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Thompson. She married Elgin E. Sanders April 18, 1937 at Lordsburg, New Mexico. He died April 23, 1966. She was retired from InterFirst Bank of Denison and was a member of Waples Memorial United Methodist Church and Texoma Medical Center Auxiliary. Survivors include son, Maj. Tommy Sanders of Dayton, Ohio; 2 daughters, Charlotte Nelson of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Carroll Rogers of South Charleston, West Virginia; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Bates of Lufkins and Mary Louise...
