Established 1948   Linda K. Gray Sheppard 28 June 1950 - 10 September 2016 Harold M. Sheppard 15 April 1945 wed 7 March 1966  Linda Kay Sheppard was born Wednesday, June 28, 1950 in Childress, Texas to Robert and Mary Wilcox Gray and passed from this life Saturday, September 10 at Texoma Medical Center at the age of 66. Linda's family moved from Childress when she was five. She was raised in Plainview, attending school there. She married the love of her life, Harold Sheppard, on March 6, 1966 in Plainview. They celebrated 50 years of marriage March 2016. Linda worked as a homemaker and a caregiver. Spending time with her family was very important to her. She loved and enjoyed playing the great grandkids. Linda was also a huge fan of Elvis that she and other family members took a trip to Memphis in 2013. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; adopted son, Daniel Dyer; and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband; son, Dan Sheppard, of Anna; daughter, Tonya Gunter and husband, Joe, of Denison; adopted children, Kem Watwood and husband, Gene, of Denison; and Rhonda Moore of Sherman; granddaughters, Savannah Loman and husband, Cody; Kelsey Gunter; Sabrina Sheppard; and Miranda Sheppard; great-granddaughter, Zoey Will; great-grandson, Phoenix Lee Cooper; brothers, Wayne Gray of Sherman and Ronnie Gray and wife, Norma, of Plainview; sisters-in-law, Betty Gray and Vonnie Gray, both of Plainview and Glenda Gray of Denison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
