- Funeral for Mae Rich, 80, Denison resident who died Monday at a local
hospital, were held Thursday morning at Bratcher Chapel with Rev. James
Rogers officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park Mrs. Rich, a Denison resident for 70 years, was born September 30, 1905 in Newport, Tennessee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hall. She married Lloyd Rich July 18, 1926 in Denison, and he died June 30, 1968. Mrs. Rich retired from Sears in 1968 after 23 years, then worked until recently at Winn's where she began employment in May 1969. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, TMC Ladies' Auxiliary, and did volunteer work at Denison Manor on Sundays. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Sanford of Galveston; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
