Established 1948   Ray H. Rich 1892 - 1955 Edith M. Rich 1904 - 1958 The Denison Press Friday, January 28, 1955 pg. 3 Funeral services for Ray. H. Rick, 62, Katy engineer residing at 407 W. Acheson, were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Monday afternoon with Rev. Earnest Potter officiating. Interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Rich was born in Denison, August 31, 1892, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rich. He attended Denison schools and was married October 9, 1937 to Miss Edith Markham. He was first married to Martha Jane Moore of Bells, who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firement and Engineers. Survivors are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Maggie Rich of Denison; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lois Davis and Mrs. Doris Pena, both of Denison; a brother, Herman Rich of New York City; 5 sisters, Mrs. Gracie Waymire of Pottsboro; Mrs. Mary Jane Gay and Mrs. Thelma Taylor, both of Denison; Mrs. Dolly Kelsey of California; and Mrs. Helen Rosiello of New York City; and 2 grandchildren.
