Established 1948   Paul Anthony Rice 10 August 1953 - Vickie Leigh Rice 17 June 1956 - 1 December 2009  The Herald Democrat December 2, 2009 DENISON - Vickie Leigh Rice, 53, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Rice was born June 17, 1956 in Denison, daughter of Harold Lloyd and Nina Marie Todd Killough. Vickie married the love of her life, Tony Rice on December 19, 1973 in Sherman. She loved going to the mountains, riding four wheelers and staying in the family cabin. Family was very important to her, especially during the holidays. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and granny. Vickie will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Rice is survived by her loving family: husband of 35 years, Tony Rice, of Denison; daughters Tina Janette Rice and Misty Dawn Russey, both of Denison; son, Stacy Allen Rice and wife, Shawnna, of Calera, Oklahoma; sister, Susan Marie Renfro of Denison; brothers, Donnie Gene Killough and Ronnie Killough, both of Denison; grandchildren, Jada Cheyenne Rice, Katy Adair, Preston Rice, Kylie Rice, Joseph Halley and Gage Russey; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Leslie Wayne Warden. Graveside services were held Thursday afternoon, December 3, 2009 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman with Minister Basil McClure officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 W. Main in Denison.
