Established 1948   DENISON – Jeanna Sue Roesler, 75, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at her home in Denison, Texas. Funeral service were held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Hodson officiating. Pallbearers were Tom A. Roesler, Andrew Keener, G. W. Melton, Mark Sparks, L. C. Johnson, Harold Franks, Freddie Melton & Ralph Nason. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman. Jeanna was born in Roberta, Oklahoma on March 23, 1936, the daughter of Garland Eugene Nix and Mary Sue Melton. She married Ludwig H. Roesler in Denison in July 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1987. She was of the Baptist faith; a graduate of Denison High School, class of 1955; was a Red Hat Lady; traveled 20 years with her husband in the Air Force; 21 year survivor of breast cancer; loved to travel, do crafts, paint and bowl. She is survived by sons Tom Roesler of Denison; David Roesler of Denison; Ludwig E Roesler & wife Susan of Viera, Florida; daughters Cindy Woods & husband Al of Ravennal Susan Arthur & husband Art of Denison; brother Erwin Nix and wife Judy of Calera, Oklahoma; grandchildren Heather Keener, Alicia George Austin, Tiffany Sullivan, Kathleen Roesler, Thomas Roesler, Michael Mitchell, Dorian Roesler, Damian Roesler, Andrea Roesler, Roberta Sparks, Keith Woods; great-grandchildren Christina Sparks, Samantha Sparks, Erica Sparks, Aden Keener, Daxon Keener, Makayla Sullivan & McKenzie Roesler. She was preceded in death by her husband Ludwig H. Roesler, parents Garland & Mary Sue Roesler, brother Frank L. Nix and sister Betty Henson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas, TX 75247. Arrangements are entrusted to Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W.
