Monday, April 15, 1991 pg. 12A Mrs. Ruby Lilly Roberson, 74, of Denison, died Saturday, April 1 3, 1991, in a local nursing home. She was born January 11, 1917, in Mead, Oklahoma, daughter of Tom and Belle Hill Bridges. She had been employed as a weaver at Denison Cotton Mill. Mrs. Roberson was a member of the Trinity Lighthouse Church in Denison. Survivors include her husband, Buster A. Roberson; daughter, Jan iece Steelman, of Victoria; sons, Eugene and Haskell Roberson, both of Denison; Donald "Donnie" and Ronald "Ronnie" Roberson, both of Comfort; sister, Alma Taylor of Calera, Oklahoma; 21 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Oscar Bridges. Serives were held Tuesday morning at Amazing Grace Church in Denison with Rev. Raymond England and Rev. Charles Anderson officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Sherman. Local arrangements were under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison.
