Established 1948   The Denison Press Friday, November 1, 1957 pg. 4 PERRY A. RICKS Funeral services for Perry A. Ricks, 57, of Hammond, Indiana, formerly of Denison, were held at Bratcher Chapel Thursday afternoon, Rev. Duke R. Barron, pastor of Waples Memorial Methodist Church officiated and interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas. Mr. Ricks, son-in-law of the T. Zenthoefers of 826 W. Crawford, died in Hammond Sunday. The remains were brought to Denison where he and his wife were reared, for burial. Mr. Ricks was born in Temple, Texas, March 26, 1900 and moved to Denison as a child. The Ricks' home was on E. Morton. He attended Denison schools and was married here to Miss Winnie Zenthoefer. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. P.A. Ricks; a brother, Eddie Ricks; and one sister.
