Established 1948    Tom Lewis Richey 24 March 1921 - 3 November 1992 Master Sergeant US Air Force WWII Purple Heart  Skiatook, OK - Graveside services for former Sherman resident Rose Richey, 93, were held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 18, at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Dennis Stewart officiating. Rose was born July 8, 1922 in Paris, Texas to Eliga and Nettie (Ledgerwood) Roach and went to meet her Lord and Savior on June 15, 2016 at her home in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Rose married Tom Lewis Richey March 10, 1941 at Hugo, Oklahoma. They came to Sherman in 1965 and she worked as a homemaker and was instrumental in helping Tom with several business ventures. Rose was a very active member of the DAR, Grayson County Geneology Society, #77 Golden Gate-Eastern Star in Denison and Crutchfield Heights Baptist Church in Sherman. Mrs. Richey is survived by her daughter Norma Fulton, grandsons Scott Fulton and his wife Jana, and Chris Fulton all of Skiatook, granddaughter-in-law Kathy Pliska-Fulton of Seattle, Washington, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
