Established 1948   On Monday, June 10, 2019 the Lord called Jeremy John Pennell, 37, to his Heavenly home at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Jeremy was born October 5, 1981 in Sherman, Texas, son of John and Kim Caraway Pennell. He graduated from Sherman High School Class of 1999 and nursing school in 2003. He held a black belt in Taekwondo and playing football for the Bearcats was a big part of who he was. Jeremy had a big heart, his caring and giving nature made him not only an excellent RN, but a wonderful person as well. He loved the outdoors and hunting. Mr. Pennell is survived by his mother, Kim Pennell of Denison, Texas; grandfather, Bill Keelan of Denison, Texas; uncle, William Keelan and wife, Elizabeth, of Sherman, Texas; second mom, Ann Sanderson of Denison, Texas; cousins, Blake Almon, Hannah Keelan, Dylan Keelan; and many close friends. Funeral services for Jeremy were held Friday afternoon, June 14, 2019 in Chapel on the Hill at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.
