Established 1948   Sherman - Funeral services for Carl Pierson, 30, of Sherman were held Thursday afternoon, November 6, 2008 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Cecarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. Services were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. Carl passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2008 in McKinney. He was born July 31, 1978 in Sherman, son of Ronnie C. and Liz Romerhausen Pierson. Carl worked for Kwikset for several years and was currently employed for the Union Pacific Railroad as a mechanic. He loved his truck, Harley and all of his toys. Most of all, Carl loved his family and was a great father. He is survived by finace, Shauna Harley, of Sherman and her children, Haile and Austin Borup; daughter, Ayla Franks Pierson; mother, Liz Mabry and stepfather, Rick, of Howe; father, Ronnie C. Pierson of Sherman; 2 brothers, Bryan Hemming and wife, Jeannnie, of Tom Bean; and Shane Mabry and wife, Nikki, of Southmayd; grandmother, Guana Pierson, of Sherman; grandmother, Rosemarie Hawkins and husband, Ray, of Sherman; aunt, Carolyn Becker and husband, Tom, of Tom Bean; uncle, Nick Romerhausen and wife, Barbie, of Frisco; uncle, Jeffrey Pierson of Sherman; and numerous other family, friends and co-workers. Carl was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl U.
