Established 1948    Bobby Lee Pinion was born November 17, 1929 in Gunter, Texas, son of Marvin M. and Beatrice Pinion. He entered his heavenly home on June 12, 2021. Bob graduated from Dorchester High School in 1947. He s erved in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. He retired from IBM in 1991 after 25 years of employment. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Monroe Pinion. He is survived by his wife, Lula Margaret "Marge" of 70 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Karen Cantrell and husband, Tommy, of Bluff Dale, Texas; daughter, Donna Wilson and husband, Sam, of Flower Mound, Texas; grandson, Chris Keating and Stephanie, of Ft. Worth; granddaughters, Meredith Bird and Jordan, of Aiken, South Carolina; and Melanie Greer and, Gavin, of Flower Mound. Step-grandchildren, Peyton Berry and Jeremiah, of Bluff Dale; and Alex Cantrell and Ashley of Ft. Worth. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren: Zoey, Sam, Isaac and Zachary Bird; McKennah, Katie, and Owen Greer; and seveeral nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sherman and Adult II Coed Class. Bob took great joy in his family and treasured his family time. Memorials may be made to the ministry of your choice or First Baptist Church of Sherman. Services were held Tuesday afternoon, June15, 2021 in the Chapel at First Baptist Church, Sherman. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Rev.
