Established 1948   Bedford F. Pualk 13 August 1912 - 2 June 1995 Margie T. Paulk 10 March 1912 - 18 May 2010  Margie Telford Paulk, 98, of Sherman passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Texoma Medical Center. Memoral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Dannel Funeral Home, with Rev. Neill Morgan officiating. Margie was born to Hugh A. and Rena B. Hatfield Telford on March 10, 1912 in Carter, Oklahoma. She graduated Collinsville High School and Draughon's Business College, Fort Worth. On January 15, 1938, she married Bedford F. Paulk in Texarkana, Texas. Margie worked for several years at Katy Railroad in Denison, and retired from Arco Oil Company of Dallas. She and Bedford moved to Sherman from Dallas in 1985. Bedford died on June 2, 1995. Mrs. Paulk was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Sherman. She was a longtime volunteer at Baylor Memorial Hospital, Garland, and was active in the local community as a member of DAR, Sherman Garden Club, Junior Tuesday Literary Club, and the Thursday Review Club of Denison. Preceding Margie in death were her parents; her husband; 2 brothers, Leonard Telford and Billy Hugh Telford; 3 sisters, Lucille Wakefield, Ima Belle Collier, and Rosemary Barkett. Surviving are her sister, Evelyn Cook; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Judy Telford; and many friends. In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 322 W.
