Denison - J.B. Pilkilton, 90 [sic], of Denison died May 11, 2009 at Stonebrook of Denison after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Bratcher Funeral Chapel in Denison with Rev. Dan Gurley officiating. Burial was at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Mr. Pilkilton was born April 16, 1916 in McKinney on April 16, 1919 to Willie and Rosalee Pilkilton. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Denison, a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II and a 50-year Mason at Billie Mosse Masonic Lodge 1152 in Denison. He retired from Pillsbury Co. in 1980. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Louise; son, Jerry Allen Pilkilton; sister, Celia Kerns; and brothers, Fred, Hoyt, and Charles Pilkilton.
