Established 1948 Willie Pilkilton 1897 - 1955 Rosa Lee Pilkilton 1893 - 1973 The Denison Press Friday, February 25, 1955 pg. 5 Funeral services for Willie Pilkilton, 59, were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Monday morning with Rev, W.W. Pittman, pastor of Trinity Methodist church officiating. Interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Pilkilton was born in McKinney, October 6, 1896 [sic], son of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Pilkilton. He was educated in McKinney schools and was married there to Miss Rosa Lee Allison. He was employed for several years by the Denison Auto Company before establishing his own business in 1923. Surviving are his wife; 4 sons, Fred and W.H. of Dallas; J.B. of Denison; and Charles of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Mrs. Celia Kerns of Denison; his mother, Mrs. Ida Pilkilton of McKinney; 2 brothers, Eddie of Denison and Tommie of McKinney; 2 sisters, Mrs. Elmer Adams of McKinney; and Mrs, Jerry Lynch of Dallas; 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
