- Graveside services for Betty Parker were held Thursday afternoon,
January 16, 2014 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with David Pulley
officiating. Betty was born Wednesday, September 18, 1935 in Canton, daughter of Floyd and Lucille (Flowers) Oldfield and passed from this life on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas at the age of 78. Betty was raised in Canton and worked as a homemaker most of her life. She married Robert Lynn "Bob" Parker on November 22, 1972 in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Parker enjoyed traveling, playing cards, dominoes and all board games. Her greatest love was the grandkids and being with her family. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents; husband, sister and brother. She is survived by her sons, Robert Price of Anson; and Randy Price of Orange County, California; grandkids, Amy Price of San Antonio; and Brittany and Michael Price of Orange Co unty, California; brother, Grady Oldfield of Canton; and several great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
