Established 1948    Denison - Edward Joe Price, 76, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Funeral services were held Thursday at Waldo Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Elrod officiating. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Edward was born April 28, 1942 to Earnest Arvil and Virgie O'Rear Price in Denison. He served in the US Navy and was awarded a Silver Star and a Purple Heart. Ed enjoyed fishing at Hagerman, eating at IHOP and The Cotton Patch, and was especially fond of Ford trucks. He was a Christian and a member of the First Assembly of God in Denison. Ed is survived by his children, Robyn Smith and husband, Duane, of Denison; Darla Aldridge of Henderson, Texas; Kristofer Price of Garland, Texas; and Crystal Price of Boyd, Texas; grandchildren, Tessa Smith, Kristina Smith, Xhaivhiaer Bell, Kristian Price, Jada Aldridge, Kimberly Price, Chloe Shaw, and Camille Shaw; two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Brandy Cragg and husband, Eric; John Price; Verline Price and Alice Mitchell.
