Sunday, February 12, 1995 Page: A14 Services for Tim Overbey of Sherman, 91, who died Saturday at Shady Oaks Nursing Home, were held Monday morning in the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Griffin of Forest Avenue Baptist Church officiated, and burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Overbey was born in Van Alstyne, son of Charles Glover Overbey and Lillie Wagner Overbey, and married Ruby Dell Powell on January 19, 1927, in Van Alstyne. Mr. Overbey was owner-operator of Overbey's Garage in Sherman for 60 years, before retiring several years ago. He was a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church. Surviving are his son, Bob Overbey of Pottsboro; daughters, Dimple Joyce Hester of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Sonja Rae Hensley of Austin; sister, Ava Williams of Baytown; and 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bobby N. Overbey, Tim Overbey, Terry Overbey, Charles (Bud) Hensley, David Hensley and Randy Keister.
