Established 1948   Sherman - Funeral services for Christine C. Olson were be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 3 at the Grayson Bible Baptist Church. Dr. Eddy Johnson of the church officiated with Mark Fedler, Steve Fedler, John Fedler, Tim Fedler, Chuck Fedler, and Kirk Shannon serving as pallbearers. Chris Olson and Johnny Bryant were honorary pallbearers. Burial was at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. At the age of 55, Mrs. Olson passed away Saturday, August 30 after a two year battle with cancer. Christine was born on December 14, 1952 in Ft. Madison, Iowa to Edmund and Delores (Spiekermier) Fedler. She married Tom Olson on August 21, 1971 in West Point, Iowa. Christine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always enjoyed her children and grandchildren, as well as needle-working and cross-stitching. She was a member of the Grayson Bible Baptist Church. Mrs. Olson is survived by her husband Tom Olson of Sherman; father Edmund Fedler of Ft. Madison, Iowa; grandchildren, Jacob, Kaelyn, and Cullen Olson, and Derek and Hillary Bryant; six brothers, Mark Fedler of Danville, Iowa, Steve Fedler of Des Moines, Iowa, John Fedler of Ravenna, Ohio, Chuck Fedler of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Edmund Fedler, Jr. of Athens, Greece, and Tim Fedler of Chesterfield, Michigan; seven sisters, Connie Ferrell of Fairfield, Iowa, Pat Becker of Davenport, Iowa, Kathy Hedger of Ft. Madison, Iowa, Mary Shannon of Fairfield, Iowa, Agnes Anderson of Donnellson, Iowa, Sue Galesthorp of Ft. Madison, Iowa, and Lori Humphrey of South Sioux City, Nebraska; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Ted Fedler.
