 Denison - Funeral services for O.T. "Jack" Owens, 81, 100 N. Hickory, who died Monday at a Denison hospital were held Wednesday at Johnson-Moore Chapel with Dr. Tom Peel and Rev. Paul Cardwell officiating. Billie Mosse Masonic Lodge #1151 conducted Masonic graveside services at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Owens was born October 11, 1904 in Sandusky, son of Mr. and Mrs. O.T. Owens. He attended Sandusky schools and married Margaret Katherine Cowherd July 17, 1927 in Denison. Owens was a supervisor at Safeway's Brookside Division where he worked 21 years. He was a member of Waples Methodist Church and was past master of Billie Mosse Masonic Lodge #1152. Owens was a 50-year Mason. Surviving are his wife of Denison; son, Tom of Lancaster; daughter, Jackie Ann Ball of Denison; brother, Bill, of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Sue Ball of California and Corrine Morgan of Boise, Idaho; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
