 Denison - Funeral service for Brenda Deon Odle, 42, of Denison, who died December 19, 1995 at Texoma Medical Center were held Thursday afternoon at First Baptist Church in Denison. Dr. Carol Norton and Rev. Joe Dee Ray officiated. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Mrs. Odle was born September 9, 1953 in Denison, daughter of R.H. and Bernice Likes Odle. She was a 1972 graduate of Denison High School. She attended Grayson County Junior College and received her Bachelor of Arts with honors from University of Texas at Austin in 1976. She was formerly employed as a dietitian at Texoma Medical Center. She helped her mother direct a day care center in their home and provided care for Glen Ringness until his death. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Denison where she was department director and teacher for Special Ministries. Survivors include her parents of Denison; a brother, Gary Wayne Odle, Jr. of Denison; a niece, Virginia Odle of Denison; and a great-nephew, Joel Odle of Whitesboro. Pallbearers were David Wilburn, Otis Higginbotham, John Pearson, Steve Wampler, Ray Smith and Ken Jackson. Honorary pallbearers were P.B. Deacons at First Baptist Church.
