Mark Wade Nichols, 63, of Denison, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2023 peacefully in his sleep.
Mark was born December 12, 1959, son of Eddie James and Mary Ann Nichols in Pasadena, Texas.   Mark graduated from La Porte High School in 1978.
After graduating Mark started his career in the Hazmat technician and heavy equipment operator at Resolute Environmental & Response services.  Mark moved to Denison in 2018 and started as an electrician's apprentice with Gatlin Electric.  In 2021 Mark retired and spent his time working on his yard and playing with his dog, Lacey.
Mark was predeceased by his father and brother, Gary Nichols.
Mark is survived by his mother and husband, Bob Bolen; spouse, Laurie Lynn Nichols; children: Sabrina Key and husband, Matthew; Heather Colson and husband, Colt; grandchildren: Ashlyn Key; Mykayla Almaguer; Caylee Colson; Carolynn Almaguer; Dana Colson; Ryan Key; Eli Colson; Keaton Almaguer; Tyler Key; sister-in-law, Sandra Davidson and husband, Phillip; brother-in-law, Dana Whittington and wife, Cindy; Jerry Whittington and wife, Lesa; and Bryan Whittington; nieces and
nephews: Jeff Whittington; Cody Whittington; Sarah Whittington; Bailee Whittington; and Brodie Davidson; and cousin, Glen Earnhart and wife, Paula.
Graveside service was held Thursday morning, April 13, 2023 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman.
