RALPH NICHOLSON DIES; SERVICES SET MONDAY
Funeral services were held Monday in Waldo Chapel here for Ralph Wesley Nicholson, 61, a former Howe resident who died at 2:20 a.m. Saturday in a Greenville hospital.  Rev. Emmitt Hunt, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Irving, and Rev. Ben Smith, pastor of North Baptist Church in Greenville, officiated.  Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Nicholson was born May 11, 1901 in Sulphur Springs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nicholson and married Miss Ruby Ray August 11, 1921.  He moved to Howe when a small child and lived there most of his life.  Mr. Nicholson was a farmer until 7 years ago, and was employed by Temco of Greenville at the time of his death.  He was a member of the Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge  at Howe.
Survivors are his wife; 2 sons, B.D. Nicholson of Ft. Worth and J.B. Nicholson of Rt. 3, Sherman; 2 daughters, Mrs. John Ashinhurst of Euless and Mrs. Jerry A. Dowdy of Irving; a brother, Frank Nicholson of Howe; 4 sisters,  Mrs. Lela Cates of Sulphur Springs; Mrs. Walter Enloe and Mrs. Luther Burkett of  Sherman; and Mrs.  Euna Snyder of Oakland, California; 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Son Hazelwood, Jim Godsey, and Frank L. Wright of Southmayd, William Myers, Calvin Langston, Willard Tapp and Travis Kirk of Greenville and Floyd Larkin of Sherman.
