Established 1948   Carolyn Jean Mabary 26 January 1951 - 12 February 1996  "Gift of Life Donor" "Organ, Eye, Tissue Donation"  Denison - Carolyn Jean Mabary, 45-year-old Denison resident, passed from this life on Monday, Febraury 12, 1996 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman. Services were held Thursday morning in the First Presbyterian Church in Denison with Dr. Jimmy Hopper and Dr. Kalie Hopper officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Bratcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Richard Ross, Mitch Parsons, Jim Lance, Tom Redwine, Brent Preston, and Kenneth Campbell. Mrs. Mabray was born on January 26, 1951 in Denison, daughter of Jack and Betty Moser. She graduated from Paris High School in 1969 and Grayson County College. She was a 1993 summa cum laude graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She married John Mabray on April 14, 1978 in Denison, Texas. Mrs. Mabray was office manager for the Grayson County Health Department in Sherman and was a Baptist. Surviving are her husband of Denison; father, Jack Moser of Pottsboro; mother, Betty Moser of Denison; daughter, Leah Sain of Denison; son, John C. Mabray of Denison; brother, Steven J. Moser of Pottsboro; and grandmother, Frances Sweeney of Denison. Memorials may be made to the Grayson County Shelter, 331 West Morton, Denison, Texas 75020.
