Morris 1921 - 1999  The Herald Democrat November 26, 2012 Funeral services for Ola Mae Morris, 86, of Sherman were held Tuesday morning, November 27, 2012 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. She passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Beacon Hill in Denison. Ola Mae was born in Benjamin, Texas on May 26, 1926, daughter of Roscoe Howard Clark and Ellen Lydia Hayes Clark. She married William "Bill" Marion Morris on May 3, 1947 in Waco, Texas. Ola Mae was a member of the Western Heights Church of Christ. She received her cosmetology license and owned and operated Ola Mae Hair Salon prior to her 22 year career and retirement from Texas Instruments. She loved playing dominoes, shopping for clothes and going out to eat. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Pricilla Key and husband, Ron; Lavern Morris; and Martha Bradshaw, all of Sherman; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jewell Thompson Tolbert of Denison; son-in-law, Billy Kitchens; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William Mark Morris; daughter, Shirley Kitchens; 2 brothers, Willie and David Clark; one sister, Ruby James and her son-in-law, Danny Bradshaw.
