Established 1948   Roscoe Ezell Morrison, 79, entered into eternal life, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Mr. Morrison was born July 1, 1939 in Denison, Texas, son of Quiney and Okada Morrison. Roscoe was a hardworking, honest man. For 15 years he worked for JC Penney's before going to work for the Katy Railroad. After many years with the railroad, he retired from Union Pacific. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Morrison leaves behind his wife, Gertrude Potts Morrison, of Denison; children, Steven Potts (Elizabeth) of Pittsburg, California; Monica Potts Stewart (Jesse) of Denison; Janice Morrison Holmes of Mesquite; Cynthia Morrison Brownlow (Earl) of Sherman; Bruce Holmes of Dallas; Tonien Hudson of Sherman; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-grandson; brother, Harold Morrison of Sherman; and sister, Theatta McNealy of Denison. Roscoe was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kevin Potts. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, April 30, 2019 at Legacy Bible Church with Rev. Manuel Gardner officiating. Interment followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. Pallbearers were Steven Potts, Jr., Zachary Holmes, Solomon Holmes, Clanton Foster, Raylin Foster, Kent McCollum.
