McElroy, 65, Katy conductor, were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Saturday afternoon with Rev. Earl C. Zetsche, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Bratcher-Moore in charge. McElroy was born in Searcy, Arkansas, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. McElroy. He was married in Denison November 15, 1916, to Miss Angie Potts. He had been employed by the Katy for the past 43 years; was a member of the First Christian church, Masonic Lodge #403, ORC; BofRt. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. H.E. McElroy, 515 E . Woodard; 2 sons: Hoyt Edwin McElroy, Jr., New York; and Max McElroy, Denison; a daughter, Mrs. Edwina Shoemake, Houston; a brother, Cliff McElroy, Tulsa; 5 sisters: Mrs. G.M. Stewart, Lorenza, Texas; Mrs. Roxie Julien, Atlanta, Texas; Mrs. V.S. Scoggin, Denison; Mrs. Flora Sharp, Tulsa; and Mrs. J.C. C ooper, Atoka; and 4 grandchildren. Hoyt E.
