Friday, December 24, 1954 pg. 3 Funeral services for Peter H. Miller, 81, were held at the Grace Lutheran Church, Monday morning with Rev. Marcus Lang officiating. Interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Bratcher-Moore in charge. Miller was born in Denmark, June 2, 1873, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Miller. He attended school in Ambrose, North Dakota, and was married in 1911 to Mae Iverson. He was brought to the United States at the age of one by his parents who settled in Cedar Falls, Iowa, later moving to Minnesota. He had operated a hardware store in Westby, Montana before coming to Denison 5 years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Peter Miller, 3588 W. Crawford Road; 5 sons: George Miller, Columbus, North Dakota; Robert Miller, New Alexandria, Vermont; Donald R. Miller, Denison, Keith Miller, Minnesota; and Dean Miller, Garland; a brother, Carl Miller, St. Paul, Minnesota; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ole Ness, Dodson, Montana; and Mrs. L.P. Anderson, Little Falls, Minnesota; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Nelson, LaCrescenta, California; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
