Wednesday, June 19, 1974 pg. 8 Grover L. Millsap of Ector died in the Sam Rayburn Memorial VA Center hospital Tuesday, June 18, 1974. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at the Dannel Funeral chapel, Sherman, with Dr. Tom Brandon and Rev. Wallis Stringer officiating. Burial was in Cedarlaw at Sherman. Mr. Millsap, a veteran of World War I, was born August 20, 1892 at Lacey Springs, Alabama, son of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Millsap. He moved to Texas as a young man. He was a member of the First Baptist church of Sherman and the Masons. He married Arlie Cleo Mires at Grand Prairie October 11, 1970 and they had made their home in Ector since. Survivors are his wife of the home; one brother, H.S. Millsap of Gainesville; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Smith of Liberty, Missouri, and a number of nieces and nephews.
