Established 1948   Opal Mae McEuen 2 November 1918 - 21 December 2003   Luther L. McEuen, Jr. 22 September 1937 - 11 February 2012 EM2 US Navy Vietnam  Luther Lemley McEuen, Jr., 74, was born September 22, 1937 in Ivanhoe, Texas and died February 11, 2012 in Sacshe, Texas. "Luke" served in the U.S. Navy and retired from GTE after 34 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Opal McEuen; and 2 sisters, Earlene Lazelle and Juanita Seale. Luke is survived by his wife; one son and daughter-in-law; one daughter and son-in-law; 2 grandsons; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, February 15, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home. A graveside service followed in the afternoon at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.
