Established 1948   Gary L. Melton 8 August 1950 - 1 July 1952 The Denison Press July 11, 1952 pg. 6 Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Saturday morning for little Gary Lynn Melton, 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Melton, who was killed in an automobile accident in Sunflower, Kansas. Rev. Ronald Prince officiated with interment in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Gary was born in Lawrence, Kansas, August 8, 1950. He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. O.G. Melton, 731 W. Morton, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Proffitt, 1630 S. Fannin.
