Mrs. Ocie Manley of Denison passed away in a Denison Hospital on Tuesday, April 5, 1977 following a short illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Manley were held at Johnson-Moore Chapel in Denison at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 1977.  Rev. J.T. Welch conducted the service and burial was made in Cedarlawn Memorial Park between Denison and Sherman.  Pallbearers were Don Hood, Woodrow Weaver, Bill Hodge, Johnny Fenn, Ed Bratton, Ronny Richardson and Glen Earnhart.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Francis Price, she was born in Fannin County on April 13, 1891.  She was married to A.A. Manley on December 29, 1912 in the Price Community. 
Mr. Manley preceded his wife in death on November 5, 1972.

Mrs. Manley was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church east of Denison.  She attended schools in rural Delta County.  She lived in Fannin County prior to moving to Denison.  She was also a member of the Women's Missionary Union at Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ivan Manley of Houston and Morris Manley of Mesquite; two daughters, Mrs. W.S. Fry of Denison and Mrs. a.E. Sanders of Morton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
