Established 1948   Sherman, Texas -- Graveside services for Jake Mullins, 69, of Sherman, Texas were held Monday, June 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, in Sherman, with Pastor Brian Ulch officiating. Jake passed away Wednesday, June 8, at Medical City in Dallas. Jake was born October 13, 1946 in De Queen, Arkansas and was the youngest son of J.D. and Vada Turrentine Mullins. Jake worked for Burlington Textile and Oscar Mayer. Jake is survived by two sons Clint and Craig Mullins of Sherman as well as his step children David Boes, Bobby Lee Boes, Gloria Holland, Billy Lewis, and Vincent Ingle. He is survived by grandchildren Austin, Tyler, Dennis, Charles, Tyler, Sirena, Alexis, Jake, Destiny, and Justyce. He is also survived by brothers Bobby Mullins of Denton, Joe Mullins of Sherman, Jerald Mullins of Arlington, sisters Patsy Cline McDaniel of Denison and Jerlene Leech of Wylie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
