Established 1948 Bill Johnson, 86, of Sherman, Texas, passed on July 16, 2022. He is survived by Lila, his wife of 58 years who remained at his side until the very ends; his 2 successful children: daughter, Marie Granger and husband, Brian; and son, Michael Johnson and wife, Betsy; as well as 3 granddaughters whom he never stopped expressing his pride for: Madisen, Julie and Amy Johnson. Bill graduated from Texas Tech in 1959 before spending 3 years in the Army; he went on to spend 20 years working as an engineer in various positions of the company, and spent his retirement years repairing many types of appliances for the people of Sherman from within his home, and playing Bridge with his group of longtime friends. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sherman, a past member of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as Rotary. He was a quiet man with no frills and a big heart; he will be remembered and missed by family, friends, and his neighborhood.
