Established 1948   Funeral services for Dexter Jackson was held Friday afternoon at Denison Church of the Nazarene with Rev. David Pettigrew officiating. Interment followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.  Esther Marie Jackson, 89, entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 3, 1932 in Pilot Point, Texas, daughter of Alice Day. She met her husband, Dexter Jackson, in 1950 and was married 67 years before he passed in 2017. Esther worked at Levi's for many years as well as the schools of Denison, Texas, and Meals on Wheels of Texoma. She loved to sew and cook for others. She was a beautiful soul and loved by all who met her. Esther leaves behind her son, Greg Jackson; daughter-in-law, Tammy Jackson; son, Dexter Jackson, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Pat Jackson; daughter-in-law, Andrean Jackson; grandchildren: Austin, Shannon, Casey, Melody, Ricky, Chris, Gigi, Brianne, Patrick, Sabra, and Krissy, as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Michael Dale Jackson; and mother. Funeral service for Mrs. Jackson was held Tuesday morning, July 19, 2022 at Denison Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Andy officiating. Pallbearers were Austin, Shannon, Casey, Chris, Melody and Cody. Interment followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.
