Bobby J. Jones, Jr. of Sherman, 61, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022.   He was born August 21, 1961, son of Bobby and Lucy Files Jones.
Bob Jr. is survived by his baby brother, Randy Jones and wife, Toy, of Denison; sisters, Sharon Perkins and husband, Jeff, of Sadler; Jean Covey and husband, John, of Corinth; and Judy Maxwell and husband, Wayne, of Arkansas; many nieces and nephews and cousins, extended family and friends.
Bob Jr. was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Christopher Ray and Danny; sister-in-law, Bonnie.
Bob Jr. graduated from Sherman High School in 1981 and worked at Wyatt's Cafeteria for many years where he made many life-long friends.  Everyone who knew Bob Jr. felt his big heart and loving nature.  He will be forever missed, especially by his nieces and nephews, whom he adored and so enjoyed spending time with them, playing hide and seek, having nerf wars, watching movies, and just hanging out together.  Bob Jr. had a love for collections of old movies, cars and music.
Our hearts are heavy and our lives are forever changed now that this gentle giant has left us, but he has gained his wings and is flying high with his Momma and Daddy, and is smiling down on all of us he loved so dearly.
Services were held Saturday morning, September 10, 2022 at Fisher Funeral Home with burial following at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
