Established 1948   Donna "Suki" Johnson 28 November 1958 - 28 February 2012  The Herald Democrat March 2, 2012 Sherman - A Celebration of Life for Donna Marie Johnson "Suki", 53, was held Saturday morning, March 3, 2012 at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Gahlen Warren officiating. Interment followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Jerry Doty, Raymond Cunningham, Magnus Gray, Tevin Brown, Darrell Roe, and Jerome Bryant serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Adrian Cassell, Steve Bryant, Henry Brown, Windsor Marcus, Jerry Gray, and Terrell McClure. Donna Marie was born November 28, 1958 in Denison, Texas, daughter of Charlie B. McClure and Darline Waddles and passed from this life on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. "Suki" was employed at Grayson County College and a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She enjoyed going to church, cooking, working with and meeting new people, traveling and working in her community. She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Marie Railback; and brother, Carl McClure. "Suki" is survived by her daughters, Deidra Johnson-Duty and Laqueta Wilson; mother; sisters, Rebecca Gray, Madeline Brown, Kimberly Cassell, and Sherry Martin, all of Sherman; Charlene Taylor of Boswell; and Creeshia McClure of Ft. Worth; brothers, Terrell McClure of Boswell; Windsor Marcus of Boston, Massachusetts; and Wayne McClure of Boswell; 7 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
