Established 1948   The Herald Democrat March 13, 2011 Denison - Jo Ann Jones, 83, entered eternal life Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Texoma Medical Center. Mrs. Jones was born September 12, 1927 in Tipton Co., Tennessee, daughter of Joseph and Media Archer Baker. Jo Ann married the love of her life, John Jones, September 5, 1966 in Law Vegas, Nevada. She retired from Texas Instruments after 30 years of service, John and Jo Ann loved to travel with the Good Sams Club. She also enjoyed quilting and collecting Shawnee pottery. She loved the Lord and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones is survived by her children: Eugene Reynolds of Walls, Mississippi; Charles Reyholds and wife, Jane, of Memphis, Tennessee; Don Reynolds and wife, Judy, of Blackrock, Arkansas; and Jim Jackson and wife, Jolene, of Whitesboro; stepchildren, Judy Ritchie and husband, Jim, of San Antonio; and David Jones and wife, Vivian, of Richmond, Virginia; brother, George Baker and wife, Ruth, of Denison; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years; and son, David Reynolds. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, March 15, 2011 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Memorial may be made in her name to Southside Baptist Church, 1131 South Scullin Ave., Denison, Texas 75020. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
