Established 1948 Sherman Democrat March 5, 1962 Denison - Funeral services were held at 2:30 pm Tuesday in Johnson-Moore Funeral Chapel here for Mrs. Dee Jeter, 74, of Denison, who died at 4:30 pm. Sunday in a Denison hospital, after a 10 year illness. She had been a resident of Denison for the last 57 years. Rev. W.D. Emberlin, United Pentecostal Chuirch minister, conducted the services. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Jeter was born February 7, 1888 in Tarrant County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Waymire. She and Mr. Jeter, a Katy railroad employee, were married October 6, 1946 in Denison. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Suvivors are her husband; two sons, Fred Overturff and Raymond Jeter, both of Denison; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Gould of Muskogee, Oklahoma; a brother, Frank Waymire; and two sisters, Mrs. C.A. Taul and Mrs. Myrtle Presley, all of Denison; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
