Established 1948  Denison Herald January 21, 1988 Page 2 DENISON - Funeral for Daisy Mae Irby, 85, of Denison who died Wednesday in a local hospital, was at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Dale Gore officiated. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home. Mrs. Irby was born May 16, 1902 in Pleasanton, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Adams. She married the Rev. T.A. Irby May 26, 1918 at Cooper. He did February 10, 1974. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Lyndol of Denison, Rev. Galen of Kennewick, Washington, Weldon of Arlington, Bruce of Hurst; five daughters, Doris Barrow of Burleson, Wanda Bailey, Ruth Allen, Sue Smith of Fort Worth, Fay Francis of Euless; a brother, Carl Adams of Cooper; four sisters, Eunice Steed, Mildred Baker, Lois Randolph and Augusta Chitsey, all of Winnsboro; 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
