Dean Hodges, 87, of Georgetown, Texas died Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at
Estralla Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Georgetown. Graveside services were held Saturday afternoon, April 4, 2015 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Nell was born July 3, 1927 in Pottsboro, Texas to Thomas Grover and Ada Mae Mercer Bell. She graduated from Sherman High School in 1945 and then attended Durham Business College in San Antonio, Texas. On October 23, 1947 she married Harvey "Gene" Hodges in San Antonio. He preceded her in death in 1996. Nell was a member of the Baptist faith. Nell was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Bobbie Lynn Hodges.
