Established 1948   Thao Thi Hura, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 77 in Sherman, Texas. Thao was born in Phu Gia, Loc Tien, Phu Loc, Thua Thien Hue, Vietnam on December 8, 1945. She was a kind and loving woman who with her husband raised their 5 children in Denison, Texas. She was a talented seamstress who lo ved to make clother for her family and friends. Thao worked as a children's seamstress and ma de beutiful dresses. Her greatest joys were cooking large famil y meals to bring everyone together, tending her garden, sewing and being a wonderful Ba to her 10 grandchildren. Her greatest sorrow will be leaving the side of her husb and, Sang. Thao is survived by her husband of 57 years, Sang Van Trinh; Yung Trinh and wife, Lisa Katz; and daughter, Marisa; son, Tien Trinh and wife, Kristy and children, Ryan and Lauren; daughter, Thu Trinh and husband, Hao Pham and children Samantha "Sammie" and Khai; daughter Tham Trinh and husband, Jeffrey Wu and children, Austin, Jackson "JJ" and Andrew; daughter, Mandy Trinh and husband, Jason Young, and children, Regan and Tyler. A memorial service was held Tuesday morning, August 22, 2023 at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman. Texas. The graveside service was held Tuesday noon, August 22, 2023 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.
