Euell Harrison was born October 19, 1907 in Sherman, Grayson Co.,
Texas, son of Samuel Harrison and Letha Harrell Harrison. He was
employed by Frisco Railway as an Engineer. He first married
Claudia Faye Evans; they were blessed with 2 children - Virginia
Lorraine Harrison and Jackie Harrison. Jackie died just before
his 3rd birthday of bronichial pneumonia and was buried in West Hill
Cemetery, Sherman, Texas.
After divorcing, Vollie married Glenda Ledell Burns in 1944. The couple had 2 children - Raymond F. Harrison and Richard Dean Harrison. Richard died at the age of 19 in a motor vehicle accident. Glenda was nearly 20 years younger than Vollie. Vollie passed away on October 16, 1965 at the Municipal Airport in Sherman, Texas; the cause of his death was severe emphysema. He was buried in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.
