"Rip" Henderson, 79, of Denison, who died February 6, 1999 at his residence, were held February 9, 1999 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Rev. Arlie Kyzer officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home. Mr. Henderson was born September 27, 1919 in Denison, son of Arthur H. and Alta Mae Henderson. He attended Denison schools. He married Loucile Grant on April 4, 1970 in Denison. Mr. Henderson was a member of the Denison Church of The Nazarene and served in the Army in World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a postman for 30 years, retiring in 1984. Surviving are his daughter, Dema Morgan of Garland; brothers, A.K. "Jack" Henderson of Sherman; Robert L. Henderson of Farmersville; and Perry Eugene Henderson of Frisco; sister, Thelma Patton of Denison; grandchildren, Dana Morgan and Brad Morgan, both of Plano; and several nieces and nephews.
