BILL HENRY HARRIS
Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore funeral chapel, Thursday, August
30, for Bill Henry Harris, 34, who died while vacationing in Sacramento,
California, August 25.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Ronald Prince, pastor of Parkside Baptist
church and interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Harris was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Harris, Sr., 85 Ann Drive. He was born in Denison April 9, 1917, and
attended school here. He was married in
December 1940 to Miss Anna Lee Browder. He
was an Army veteran of World War II, and was employed as a salesman for Simms
Tobacco and Candy Company.
Survivors
aside from his widow and parents are one brother, J. D. Harris, Jr.,
Sacramento; and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Marie Todd, Denison; Mrs.
Rachel Harrison, Garland; and Mrs. Ruby Lee Todd, Hemet, California.
