Established 1948  Denison, Herald May 19, 1985 Denison - Funeral for Willie Mae Harmon, 80, 106 N. 8th St., who died Saturday morning in a local hospital, were at 2 p.m. Monday in East Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Bush officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Born March 9, 1905, in Fannin County to J.R. and Mary Williams, she married Huey Harmon in 1965 at Denison. He died three years ago. A practical nurse for many years, Mrs. Harmon founded the Practical Nurses Association here in Denison and served three terms as president. She was a member of East Baptist Church. Two sons, Billy Joe and Prentice Barnett, preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Earnest R. Barnett of Pampa; one daughter, Beatrice Perrin of Denison; four brothers, Riley and Joe Williams, both of Sherman, Mearl Lee Williams of California and Bill Williams of Tomball; two sisters, Imogene Smith and Mary Robertson, both of Denison; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Allen, Jerry Van, David A. and Teddy Joe Barnett, Steven Sweeney, Richard Potter and Jerry Price.
