Established 1948    Dorothy M. Green 1921-1986 Wilbur S. Greene 1922 - 2014   Wilbur S. "Bill" Greene, 91, died at Texoma Medical Center on Monday, August 11, 2014. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon August 13, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with Rev.Josh Jackson officiating. Burial followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park with military honors conducted by Ft. Hood Honor Guard. Serving as pallbearers were Nathan Lawrence, James Pickens, Reban Hanson, Bobby Neely, Jimmy Cody and Stanley Pickens. Bill was born on November 14, 1922 in Sadler, Texas, son of Robert Milam and Grace Edna Siebman Greene. He and Dolly May Hargrove were married in Denison on Septemb er 3, 1955. Bill was a toolmaker for Johns-Manville Corporation and a member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II in Japan. He is survived by his son, Gary Greene; daughter Phyllis Lawrence of Denison; nsister, June McCoy of Irving; grandchildren, Nathan Lawrence of Denison and Jackie Hanson of Sherman; great-grandchildren, Melissa Carpenter of Sherman and James Carpenter of Jefferson, Texas; partner, Norma Allen of Denison.
