Established 1948   Elaine Gaines was born July 23, 1953 to David and Margaret Rutherford. She passed away on September 12, 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a life long member of the Payne Chapel AME Church of Sherman, where she served as Lay Organization President. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves with cherished memories, daughter, Shaterra M. Camerson; son, Shijon R. Haywood (Sheila); sisters, Davetta Green, Margene Luper; brother, Jerald Rutherford (Latice), all of Sherman; grandchildren, Landus Cameron, Samuel Cameron, Shijon Haywood, Zadavian Haywood and Imari Haywood; and loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
